I am joyfully married to my wife, Mallory, and together we have three young boys: River, Cayson, and Noah. I love reading, writing, running, playing guitar, and watching Survivor with the fam.
I grew up in Littleton, CO and went to college here at CSU where I graduated in 2014. Though I grew up in the church, I carried some emotional baggage I didn't know what to do with. On top of that, I didn’t really understand certain religious words like “sin” or "the Gospel" nor did I understand what it truly meant to follow Jesus in real life. At the beginning of my freshman year of college, however, I got connected to both a local church and a campus ministry. It was through those ministries things finally “clicked”; I heard the Gospel, I sensed God’s calling of me to Himself, and I yielded my life to Jesus in a significant way.
After graduating college, I served as a missionary with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) in South Asia for two years where I talked to college students about Jesus. I then oversaw the ministry of Cru in the Denver Metro Area for a handful of years before moving up to Fort Collins in 2023. It was during my time in Denver that I met my wife, got married, started having kids, and graduated from seminary (M.Div. from the William Tennent School of Theology).
Through all of these experiences, God has created in me a deep compassion for students of all backgrounds in the age range of 12-22. Truly, I cannot think of a more spiritually formative decade in a person's life than those ten years! I consider it a great privilege to come alongside families and volunteers to invest in the next generation together – helping students to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
