Director: The Town Women
I grew up in Minnesota where I learned to endure the un-relenting winters in anticipation of the beautiful summers and lake life that was always just around the corner. My parents faithfully led us to the gospel and I fell in love with Jesus at a young age. The oldest of three, though, my role in our home was to responsibly boss my siblings around and try to be perfect. How grateful I am for God’s continued grace and gentle humbling of that tendency in my heart!
I met my husband, Zach, in college and we got married shortly after graduation. I worked as a high school English teacher for 3 years before Zach’s job moved us out to Denver in 2014. We instantly fell in love with Colorado and it has been home ever since.
I worked for a short time in Denver as a caseworker for a non-profit organization before we welcomed our son, Murphy, in 2015. I had the joy and privilege (and plenty of headaches) of staying home full-time with him and our two daughters, Lou and Lettie, for 10 years. In 2021, we made the move from Denver to Fort Collins and have so clearly seen God’s sovereignty and provision in bringing us here where we are very happily planting our roots.
The Town Church has become family to us, and my heart for women here is just that: to feel seen and loved as a part of a family, called and equipped into the beautiful gifts and plans He has for us.
I love brunch, outdoor adventures, waterslides, and a good book. I hate wind, plain vanilla ice cream, and putting laundry away. But I’m always up for a good laundry-folding-chat with a friend, so let me know!
