Betty Horiuchi
Director: Youth and College
I grew up in the 600-person metropolis of Swink, Colorado. In 2019, I made the move to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University and graduated with my B.S. in Psychology in May 2023. While I was fortunate to grow up in the church and with parents who love the Lord, my heart wasn’t fully captivated by Jesus until college. God revealed Himself to me through The Navigators ministry, where I learned what it looked like to radically live for Him and was engaged in Christ-centered fellowship for the first time ever. Joining The Town Church as a sophomore exposed me to the beauty of worshiping God and studying Scripture in a multi-generational context, creating a deep love in my heart for the local church and how it functions to bring God glory.
Opportunities I had to serve younger generations of students in Navs fueled my desire to work in ministry full-time, and through an unexpected turn of events God placed me in this role to continue loving students (of many ages) in a new context.
I love cats, playing pickleball, baking bread, and spending all of my time and money at coffee shops. I don’t have a creative bone in my body, but I can shred on the kazoo. Ask me about my moped sometime.
